Join Our Team as a Research Assistant (Part-time)

Part-time (30-40%) | 4-5 month contract | Starting June 1, 2025

We are looking for a Research Assistant to join our team investigating the links between colours and emotions across specific populations at the Institute of Psychology, University of Lausanne, Switzerland.

About the Project

Our research focuses on understanding how different populations experience colours. The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation of a Swiss National Science Foundation grant proposal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews of relevant scientific publications (primarily in English)

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of pilot data

• Support the development of the grant proposal

Qualifications

• BSc in Psychology (required)

• MSc in Psychology (completed or in progress)

• Proficiency in English

• Understanding of empirical research methods and quantitative statistics

• Interest in cognitive and affective processes and visual perception

• Previous research experience and scientific writing skills are advantageous
